  1. Great stuff here Joe that I had forgotten! You were correct in your Mirror Cuffs blog when you said HH was trying to hide the fact that he was holding the silver replicas by the way he pinched them in his hands. Lots of good stuff to go over again.

    • Thanks Leo!
The solid silver manacle was always thought to be pictured in the photo with HH sitting, but we now know that it is really the DC mirror cuff. HH obviously doesn’t want us to know that this is the DC mirror cuff, which could explain why he is covering the key hole and the center of the cuff in the photo.
Glad you enjoy the stuff at HHCE. I certainly enjoy reading your comments.

  2. I was thinking about that driving to work this morning. I had it backwards! HH was holding the real cuffs and tried to hide that. Why? Is it an indication that he tried to conceal the assumption that the Mirror/DC Cuffs were not his? If the challenge was genuine, then those cuffs belonged to the maker.

    • Possibly, since he wasn’t supposed to be in possession of them. One wonders why there was a gap in the DC mirror cuff in the first place. FWIW: The so-called Tatler cuff didn’t have a gap. He may also be trying to cover up the difference in the two wrist holes.
