Things that were miraculous two generations ago are now commonplace. THAT is a profound observation! I still marvel at that photo of Harry talking into his phone in his library at 278. The cell phone equivalent for us. And the airplane was commonplace by the 1920s, yet Houdini’s grandparents would have been astonished to see a biplane zipping by.
