    • Looks like this Houdini Bust first showed up in 1980 at the museum (i.e., it is not in the 1979 brochure). The brochure for 1980 says the following: The Houdini Bust displayed here is provided courtesy of the Radner Collection, the original bust that graced Houdini’s grave in Mackpelah Cemetery was smashed by vandals in April 1975. It has since been replaced by the Society of American Magicians.

  2. The must have replaced the bust at the cemetery shortly afterwards because I saw one when I visited the cemetery for the 50th Anniversary of Houdini’s death. There was a broken ceremony conducted by Larry Weeks.
